Erin is married to Keith Carter, an associate professor at the Naval War College at NPS and retired Army officer. They’ve lived all over the country (WA, CO, GA, CA, TN, PA, and NY) and after 23 years finally settled down in Monterey. Erin has three children; Kat, Graham, and Boyd, and two beagles, Mosby and Merrill.

Work History:

2000-2019 Erin has worked as a bedside nurse in NICUs, post-partum floors, and pediatric units around the country.
Family Practice Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2021
2021-2023: Primary care provider in a clinic dedicated to the homeless in Newburgh, NY.
2024 to Present: MPPMG
