Hi! I'm Judah . . . the little guy in red,

I was born after only 27 weeks of gestation. That was three months before my due date.
I only weighed 1lb 10 oz and was 11 inches long. My dad says that I was as big as a cucumber!

Thankfully, Dr. LaMothe attended my birth, and though I was not breathing, revived me and quickly stabilized me.

I was airlifted to UCSF Intensive Care where I spent three months recovering. My pediatrician checked on me all the time from Monterey and has continued to be a part of my progress.

It is hard for my mom to talk with me about my miraculous recovery without tears in her eyes . . . but when she does she always talks about the "smiling doctor" that saved my life.
